Debugging XML3D with Firebug

Firebug is one of the most famous extensions for the Firefox web browser. It’s a great help for the web development. It has tools for HTML, CSS , DOM and JavaScript. XML3D is based on these technology thus, it’s possible to edit, debug, and monitor the 3D content just in the same way. For the native implementations even the “Inspect” functionality works: just click on the object you want to manipulate.

Chromium Developer Tools provide similar functionality to Firebug and is available as part of the browser itself. To access it, select Wrench > Tools > Developer Tools.
